My family and I live on a small acreage near Mitchell, South Dakota. My husband, Russ, teaches school in Montrose. Our oldest daughter is Colleen and she is a junior in college. Next is Sara, she is a freshman in college. Gramm is in first grade, and Mitch is in kindergarten. We have a variety of cows, chickens, cats, and a dog named Freckles. |
I grew up in Minneapolis, the youngest of five children. My parents owned a small store - Northside Sports Shop. My brothers and sisters are spread out now. Both of my sisters, and my mother, live with their families in Minnesota. One of my brothers lives in California, and the other in Arizona. |
I graduated from Black Hills State University in December of 1987; I have been teaching in Mitchell, South Dakota since the 88-89 school year. I worked at Whittier Elementary before moving to LB Williams Elementary. I have always been a special services teacher, and I love working with my students. During June, 2002 I was a student again, attending Technology for Teaching and Learning (go to www.sdttl.com, and under June, click on Mitchell for more information on this). I learned a lot about technology. |
